Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the rotatable range of a plurality of suction heads by supplying negative pressure to the plurality of suction heads by means of single tubing.
SOLUTION: This suction device includes a rotor 3 mounted on the front side of a fixing member, a plurality of suction heads 4 provided radially around the rotor, a stepping motor 9 provided on the back side of the rotor, and a positioning pin 14 connected to tubing 18. The tubing 18 is communicated to a suction hole 4d in a sucking part 4c at an end via a vent hole 14b in the positioning pin, a positioning hole 3c and a communicating hole 3b in the rotor, and a through hole 4b in each suction head. To suck parts, the rotor is rotated, and when the head 4 corresponding to the parts comes to a part sucking position the positioning pin is advanced by a cylinder 16 and inserted into the positioning hole 3c to position the suction head and to supply negative pressure to the suction head.
