Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a particle analyzer not difficult in the adjustment of a position with respect to a flat sample solution stream containing a particle component of blood or urine, capable of efficiently applying uniform fluorescent exciting light and capable of measuring lateral fluorescence or scattered light.
CONSTITUTION: The narrow surface of a flat sample solution stream is irradiated with fluorescent exciting light from a light source 10 and the fluorescence emitted from the wide surface of the flat sample solution stream 14 is detected by a light detector 38 and the signal from the light detector 38 is inputted to a signal processor to be subjected to signal processing.
