Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3466377
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove particles from the inside of an envelope of a CRT.
SOLUTION: An envelope 12 of a CRT contains a face plate panel 14 together with a color selecting electrode assembly 30 separably installed in it. A removing device has plural beating mechanisms 84, 184 and 284 to impart asynchronous vibration to a funnel 18 of the envelope while cleaning the whole inside of the funnel by a proper fluid. Plural exciters 51 are also contained to remove particles after asynchronous vibration is imparted to the color selecting electrode assembly 30 before the color selecting electrode assembly is sealed in the funnel 18 by being installed in the panel.
