Abstract:
A particle separator includes a first housing (44) and a second housing (46). The first housing (44) extends along an axis from an open proximal end (52) to an open distal end (54). The second housing (46) has a closed proximal end (56) disposed adjacent the open proximal end (52) of the first outer housing (44). The second housing (46) extends from the closed proximal end (52) into the first housing (44) along substantially a same axis as the axis of the first housing (44). The second housing (46) has one or more passages (48) disposed at a distance from the closed proximal (52) end of the second housing (46). Additionally, the one or more passages (48) are disposed within the first housing (44) at a distance from the open proximal (52) end thereof.
