PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet ray/near-infrared ray blocker that simultaneously blocks ultraviolet ray and near-infrared ray, does not have photocatalytic activity, and can realize smooth touch when blended in a cosmetic composition and applied to skin.SOLUTION: Particles for cosmetic contain metal oxide particles and amorphous titanium oxide which is supported on a surface of the metal oxide particles at the amount of 1.5 to 50 mass% with respect to the particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
