Abstract:

To provide a new particulate dispersion composition into which fine particles of slightly water-soluble substance are dispersed and provide a method for producing the same.

In this particulate dispersion composition, a slightly water-soluble specific substance, polymer and oil are dispersed in water so that the average particle size may be less than 1 μm and the weight ratio between the total weight of the polymer and the oil and the weight of the specific substance may be more than 1.5. In the method for production of the particulate dispersion composition, a water-immiscible solvent, the specific substance, the polymer and the oil are dispersed in water, then the water-immiscible solvent is removed from the emulsion to provide the particulate dispersion composition.
