Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate matter heat treatment device in which heat recovery is carried out before the high temperature particulate discharged out of a kiln body is cooled and it can be effectively utilized.SOLUTION: A cooling machine 19 for cooling high temperature particulate heated and treated is installed at a lower location of a kiln main body 4 of a rotary kiln 2 for heating and treating the particulate, a discharging part 9 and the cooling machine 19 of the kiln main body 4 are connected by a discharging shoot 20 and an outer periphery of this discharging shoot 20 is enclosed by a substantial annular cover member 21 to form a clearance space A for feeding surrounding air. Then, before the high temperature particulate discharged out of the discharging shoot 20 is cooled with a cooling machine 19, it is heat exchanged with the surrounding air fed into the clearance space A formed around the discharging shoot 20 to perform a heat recovery and the surrounding air of which temperature is increased is supplied as combustion air to a burner 8 of the kiln main body 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
