Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a particulate trap for a diesel engine entirely satisfying all the characteristic such as capturing performance of the particulate, pressure drop due to capturing, regenerating performance and durability and favorable cost.
SOLUTION: A laminated material alternately lapping even-number platelike filters A1, and A2 made of a nonwoven fabric of a heat resistant metallic fiber and corrugated plates B1 and B2 made of a heat resistant metal is rolled, moreover, a space between the platelike filters A1 and A2 interposing the corrugated plate B1 is stopped with a stopping part 2 at one end side of a columnar body made by this way and the space between the platelike filters A2 and A1 interposing the corrugated plate B2 is stopped at the other end side respectively to make a filter element, and a diesel exhaust gas is filtered with this element.
