PURPOSE: To provide a parting agent which exhibits excellent mold release characteristics when a mold surfce is coated with a small amount of this agent, does not stain the surfaces of moldings, and does not make the surfaces sticky, consisting of a specified fluorine-contg. urethane compd. and an oil.
CONSTITUTION: A fluorine-contg. urethane compd. (A) selected from compds. of formulasIWIII[wherein Rf is a 4W20C perfluoroalkyl; X is methylene, a group of formula IV or V (wherein A is H, lower alkyl, OH, lower alkylcarbonyloxy; m is 0W4; r is lower alkyl; l is 1W4); Y, W are each a bivalent org. group; Z is a monovalent org. group]and at least one oil (B) selected from silicone varnish, silicone oil which are liquid or semi-solid at room temp. and have a b.p. of 100°C or above and a m.p. of 150°C or below, waxes having a m.p. of 150°C or below, such as carnauba wax, and highly fluorinated org. compds. having a b.p. of 100°C or above, such as hexafluoroprophylene oxide, are blended togethr in a ratio of 1:0.1W10. The mixture is dissolved or dispersed in water or an org. solvent in such an amount as to give 0.1W50wt% active ingredient.
