PURPOSE: To obtain a partition fitted with an air purifier having no feeling of physical disorder from the aspect of appearance by incorporating the air purifier equipped with a fan motor in the partition and providing suction ports to both side surfaces of the partition.

CONSTITUTION: An air purifier 2 is received in a partition and suction ports 4 are provided to both side surfaces 3 of the partition 1, and a dust collecting parts are provided to the rear parts of the suction ports 4. The tobacco smoke above a table 5 is sucked by a fan motor through the dust collecting parts. The purified air from the air purifier 2 is discharged to a room from the discharge port 6 provided to the upper end of the partition 1. The distance between a worker and a noise source becomes large and the operating noise generated from the air purifier 2 built in the partition becomes hard to enter the ear of the worker. By this method, noise reduction is achieved.
