Title:
PARTITION HAVING GRILLE AND PARTITIONED ROOM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1088709
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To attain a concentrative effect of work by partitioning a monitoring control room and an observer passage by a lattice-shaped grille, and also making brightness of the observer passage partitioned by the grille darker than the monitoring control room.

An observer 4 in an observer passage 2 observes an observing object in a monitoring control room 1 through a grille 3, and the grille 3 is also formed as a transparent open grille. When a grille opening dimension is denoted by (a) and an interval (e) between left and right eyes of a person is denoted by about 63mm and an interval (d) between eyes of the observer and the grille is denoted by about 120mm and an angle (c) of visibility normally recognizable by a person is denoted by 60 degrees, an optimal grille opening dimension (a) is set to almost 200mm. Illuminance of the monitoring control room 1 and the observer passage 2 partitioned by the grille 3 is also made different, and the observer passage 2 is made darker than the monitoring control room 1. Therefore, the interior of a room can be easily seen from the observer, and the observer is hardly seen from an operator, and a hindrance to the concentration on work can be reduced.
