Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a separable vol. coil which generates two output signals with quadrature phases for an nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus and a connector which is mechanically hardly broken without deteriorating quality of the signal. CONSTITUTION: A split vol. coil assembly 10 is separable and has an electric connector 60 and a high quality factor namely a quadrature output signal of 'Q' is obtd. from a split resonance tool 20 provided in a coil assembly. The connector 60 has a flat gold-plated copper plate placed between facing end faces of two separable case half bodies 11 and 12 and the copper plate is electrically connected with its open end part so as to complete a resonance circuit when case half bodies 11 and 12 are electrically coupled to each other.
