Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accurately display dimensions corresponding to the respective parts of a desired object by canceling AF, driving a focusing lens and finely control the display of a scale by operating a fine control dial. CONSTITUTION:When a fine control dial 8 is operated, the information is transmitted to a CPU 6, and the CPU 6 switches a switch 14 to the CPU 16 first of all by outputting a switching signal (f) and cancels an AF mode. A lens driving signal (c) corresponding to the amount of turning the fine control dial 8 is transmitted from the CPU 6 to a lens drive control part 17, and the focusing lens is moved. By this movement, distance information is changed. Then, the CPU 6 executes calculation for each fixed timing by using the changed distance information and calculates the data concerning the dimensions. These data are transmitted to a scale generator 20, the scale displayed in an electronic view finder 21 is updated corresponding to the manipulated variable of the fine control dial 8, and the display is changed little by little.
