PURPOSE: To provide a partition wall of a heat accumulating chamber which can be manually constructed within a short period of time and with a less number of persons under utilization of mechanical power in which the partition wall of the heat accumulating chamber such as a glass furnace and the like is composed of large blocks, an anti-pressure strength and an anti-creep characteristic under a high temperature of blocks are assured.

CONSTITUTION: A central part of a partition wall has a skeleton composed of high density alumina baked bricks 2 or electrical melting cast bricks. Non- shaped refractory material having low 2 shrinkage during heating are cast around at 3 of the skeleton so as to make an integral assembly. Blocks 1 with one block weight being 400kg or more having projections 4 or grooves 5 fitted to each other at upper, lower, right and left sides are coated with mortar and a plurality of blocks are piled up and assembled.
