Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a resident to easily change arrangement of a partition wall.
SOLUTION: The partition wall for partitioning a space in a room, has moving wheels arranged at a lower end thereof, and a hinge guide 40 arranged on an end face thereof. The hinge guide 40 has an engaging groove formed therein. Then, a three-point-rotatable connecting fitting 31 is inserted into the hinge guides 40 and 40 of the two movable partition walls 6 and 7 thus formed. The three-point-rotatable connecting fitting 31 is formed of a pair of connecting plates 33 and 33 to be engaged with the respective hinge guides 40 and 40, a pair of hinge plates 32 and 32, and rotating pins 34 connecting each connecting plate 33 and each hinge plate 32 together, and connecting the hinge plates 32 and 32 together. By virtue of the three-point-rotatable connecting fitting 31, the two movable partition walls 6 and 7 are foldably connected together.
