Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts for fitting or detaching a heel complementary section to and from a body section, simplify the structure of a mounting and demounting means, and restrain an increase in the weight of whole shoes.

CONSTITUTION: This heel is made out of a permanent body section 12 and a complementary section 13 forming a replaceable rear sole section. In this case, a vertical dislocation stopper means 2 is laid between the front contact surface of the section 13 and the contact surface of the body section 12 faced thereto. Also, the first engagement means 6 and the second engagement means 7 are formed at front and rear positions on an elastically deformable upper engagement piece 4 fastened to the body section 12 and a lower engagement piece fastened to the section 13. Furthermore, a through-hole 8 is provided in the section 12 or 13 for inserting a rod type tool to release the first engagement means 6.
