Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the retrieving speed and to reduce the storage capacity by storing the relation among the parts, a parts production line, the parts number the products, and a product production line after dividing this relation into the arrangement information, the in-process information, and the reserve information respectively.
CONSTITUTION: In a production system, various types of parts A1-A3, etc., are produced on the parts production lines B1 and B2, etc., and at the same time various types of products E1-E4, etc., are produced on the product production lines F1 and F2, etc. When the number of products E1-E4 to be produced are instructed, the number of parts A1-A3 which are produced on the lines B1 and B2 are calculated. The production system consists of a console, an external auxiliary storage, a data processor, an internal auxiliary storage, a communication controller, and a floppy disk device, etc. Then the entire information is divided into the arrangement information which decides the relation among the parts, the parts production lines, and the product production lines, the in-process information which decides the relation between the products and the product production lines, and the reserve information which decides the relation among the parts, the number of parts, and the products and then stored.
