To ensure a stable connecting state even if parts for an exhaust system are complicated in the shapes in the parts for the exhaust system by friction welding by suppressing chip scattered when friction welding, burrs produced in the connecting part, not damaging catalyst carrier stored in a catalyst case, turbine blade installed in a super charger, for example, relaxing the oxidation on the connecting part without hitting the connecting part by exhaust when the exhaust with the high temperature flows through, withstanding the upset pressure when friction welding with little deformation and capable of suppressing crack production in using as parts for exhaust system.
The parts for exhaust system in which two or more members are connected with friction welding are shaped by forming at least one more cylindrical projection parts protruding outwards in an axial direction on an end where members are connected by connecting the end face opposed with each other at the external perimeter with friction welding out of cylindrical projection parts of the both members with each other or an end of a member and cylindrical member parts of the other member part and enveloping inside perimeter of connecting part with the space formed with the cylindrical projection part at an external perimeter side, cylindrical projection part at internal perimeter side and end face of the end.
