Provided is a case capable of making an opening/closing mechanism of a component discharge port correspond to a mechanism on a feeder side by a simple structure. A component storage device (200) that has a rectangular parallelepiped shape having a longitudinal direction, has a discharge port (opening) (6) at one end portion in a longitudinal direction, and stores a plurality of electronic components (50) from the discharge port (6) into the case (1) having a shutter member (3) sliding to open/close the discharge port (6). The component storage device includes a carrying portion (210) that continuously carries the plurality of electronic components (50), a discharging portion (230) that drops the electronic components (50) carried by the carrying portion (210) one by one by its own weight, and an installing portion (240) that is installed while the case is positioned so as to drop the electronic components (50) discharged from the discharging portion (230) into the discharge port (6). The installing portion (240) has a holding portion (250) that can hold the case (1) while turning the discharge port (6) upwards and an opening/closing mechanism (260) that opens/closes the shutter member (3).
