Abstract:
To miniaturize a parts feeder and reduce of its power consumption by considering the relationship between the amount of delivered parts and the amount of replenished parts of the parts feeder.SOLUTION: A guide shooter 10 is provided on the position that allows a small part 33 to fall on a round bowl 6 of a vibratory parts feeder 3, and an electric vibrator 14 is attached to the guide shooter 10. A magnetic stone 44 that attracts the small part 33 to the guide shooter 10 is provided on the back side of a slide plate 21. Detection means 28 that detects the storage amount of parts inside the round bowl 6 is provided, and a detection position 28a of the detection means 28 is in a lower position than a height H of the small part 33. The attraction power stopping time of the magnetic stone 44 and the operation time of the vibrator 14 are set so as for the small part 33 not to be in a laminated condition on a bottom plate 6b of the round bowl 6. When a shortage of the storage amount of parts is detected, the attraction power of the magnetic stone 44 is eliminated, and the vibrator 14 is operated, making such replenishment as to avoid the laminated condition in the round bowl 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
