To realize a component supply management system with residual number management, capable of executing a proper process when a discontinued component is generated, and allowing reduction of the number of components to be executed with disposal processing, reduction of an excessive stock amount, and reduction of a manufacturing stop period of a finished product using the discontinued component.
In this component supply management system with the residual number management, a computer 11 of a business company 10 notifies a plurality of users 20 and a plurality of manufacturing plants 30 of discontinued component generation information via a network, collects stock information about a storage warehouse 12, component manufacturable information about the plurality of manufacturing plants, and component surplus information about other users according to discontinued component demand information from a user requiring the discontinued component, and decides whether supply of the component is possible or not, according to the collected information. Accordingly, when the discontinued component is generated, the proper process can be executed, the number of the components to be executed with the disposal processing can be reduced, the excessive stock amount can be reduced, and the manufacturing stop period of the finished product using the discontinued component can be reduced.
