Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pass monitoring system capable of always monitoring all the passes of a duplex system.
CONSTITUTION: The pass monitoring system which monitors the pass of the duplex system in a communication system is equipped with a multiplex part 1 which multiplexes the data of a system in current use and the one in a spare system, and a separation part 2 which separates the output of the multiplex part 1, and monitors the pass of the duplex system setting the prescribed output of the separation part 2 as a terminal M for monitoring. It is desirable that the separation part 2 separates the output of the multiplex part 1 to the data for system in current use and multiplexed data, and the monitoring of the pass of the system in current use and the spare system are performed simultaneously setting the output of the multiplexed data in the separation part 2 as the terminal M for monitoring. Also, it is desirable that buffer memory is provided between the multiplex part 1 and the separation part 2, and the buffer memory required for input at every system in a conventional system can be omitted.
