PURPOSE: To minimize the reduction of a space for passage by arranging a passenger conveyer in parallel with the passage and to enable the arrangement of the passenger conveyer also for the existing passage.

CONSTITUTION: In a passage equipment with an arrangement of a passenger conveyer 4 in parallel with a passage, passage handrails 21 are provided to the passenger conveyer 4, and the passage handrails 21 are provided within the width of installation for the passenger conveyer 4. In the upper and lower parts of the passage, the upper and lower machine roans of the passenger conveyer 4 are buried under the floor, and the middle part thereof is arranged over the passage.
