To dissolve a swell of an opened page face of a booklet type passbook without increasing production cost and lengthening handling time by providing a guide turning in such a way that rotatable rollers for pressing the seam of the opened passbook from both sides are movable to both sides of the seam.

Feed rollers 1, 2 are arranged parallel with center distance narrower than the opened width of a booklet type passbook 49, and a lower guide plate 3 is exposed so that the flat outer peripheral surface of the feed rollers 1, 2 are parallel with the horizontal upper face. A left movable guide 4 and a right movable guide 5 are formed by partially cutting out the lower guide plate 3 so as to be positioned at equal distance from the middle part of the feed rollers 1, 2, and provided in strip shape with specified width and with length corres-corresponding to at least the height of the passbook. Mounting is easy, and mechanism is simple. Since the passbook can be straightened only by turning the movable guides 4, 5, handling time can be shortened, and no load is generated even in case of the passbook coming in contact with the rollers.
