Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a passenger conveyer wherein an area of occupying building construction space by the passenger conveyer is decreased to provide the structure convenient for a walking person.
CONSTITUTION: A total unit width of a main unit frame 8 of a passenger conveyer 1, juxtaposed to a passage of a staircase, is widened in the vicinity of an on/off getting port 3 and on the other hand narrowed in the vicinity of the staircase 2, and the main unit frame 8 in the widened part is buried in a construction structural part which serves as the passage, to provide the staircase 2 laid in the vicinity of the main unit frame 8 in the narrowed part. A handrail unit 10 tilted along the staircase 2 is provided in the upward of the main unit frame 8 in the widened part.
