Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor apparatus capable of preventing an outer casing from falling due to seismic ground motion and the like.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor apparatus includes a body frame 3 that is laid between one floor (1) of a building structure and the other floor (2) thereof, and a plurality of outer casings 7 that are mounted on a side part of the body frame 3 and that cover the side part. A connection mechanism 9 (e.g. an annular body 9a for being attached to the backside of the outer casing 7 and a cord-like body 9b for being inserted through the annular body 9a) for connecting the outer casings 7 together is provided on the backside of the outer casing 7.
