Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect contact between a comb plate part and a step by arranging a piezoelectric sensor on a surface of the comb plate part.SOLUTION: In a passenger conveyor device for circulating and moving a step which is formed by being endlessly connected between entrances, a cleat groove part 101 extending to a forward direction is formed in alignment in a width direction of a step on an upper face of the step, a comb plate part 61 having a shape corresponding to the cleat groove part 101 is arranged at an entrance while opposing the cleat groove part 101 apart therefrom, and a piezoelectric sensor 8 is arranged on a surface of the comb plate part 61. A control device connected to the piezoelectric sensor 8 detects contact between the comb plate part 61 and the step from a signal from the piezoelectric sensor 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
