To prevent a guide roller from thrashing about in the vertical direction between a guide rail and a pressing rail by reducing dimension of a clearance between the guide rail and the pressing rail up to approximately dimension of outside diameter of the guide roller.
This passenger conveyor device is provided with a conveyor chain 7 connecting a plurality of link plates 8 by a connection shaft 9 and circulating and moving between two sprockets, the guide rail having a bent part arranged along the direction of circulation and moving of the conveyor chain 7 and protruding into a chevron shape, a plurality of guide rollers 10 attached to the link plates 8, engaged with the guide rail, and moving, and the pressing rail arranged on an outer periphery side of the guide rail in a region opposing to the bent part. A fixing part 12a provided in a stepping part 12 is fixed to a fringe part 8a on an outer periphery side of the link plate 8, and height from the fringe part 8a on the outer periphery side of the link plate 8 to a surface 12b on an outer periphery side of the fixing part 12a is set to such dimension that prevents the fixing part 12 from coming into contact with the pressing rail.
