Abstract:
The present invention provides a passenger conveying device and a control method thereof. During the power failure, the power is regenerated by an inverter device to realize the deceleration stop. A control circuit (11) detects the power failure of an alternating-current power supply (6), and then sends out a switching signal to a switching switch (12). In this way, the inverter device (7) is disconnected from a regenerative resistor (13) to be connected to the control circuit (11). After that, the control circuit (11) obtains the inverter load information from the inverter device so as to determine the predetermined deceleration for the regenerative power generated by the inverter device and output the predetermined deceleration to the inverter device. Through the deceleration action corresponding to a deceleration command, the inverter device generates the regenerative power to serve as a control power supply. Therefore, the decelerating and stopping action of a motor (3) is realized.
