Abstract:
To provide an opening part detecting device capable of detecting an opening part without using control information of a passenger conveyor and notifying an operator of the approach of the opening part.SOLUTION: An opening part detecting device 106 of a passenger conveyor according to the present invention comprises: a magnetic sensor 201 to detect magnetism; a step detecting part 206 to detect the movement of a step of the passenger conveyor from changes in magnetism detected by the magnetic sensor 201; an opening part detecting part 205 to detect an opening part formed by removing the step using the detected result of the movement of the step by the step detecting part 206; an opening part approach determination part 209 to detect the approaching of the opening part to the opening part detecting part 106 using the number of the steps detected by the step detecting part 206 and the detected result of the opening part by the opening part detecting part 205; and a notification part 204 to notify the approaching of the opening part when the opening part approach determination part 209 detects the approaching of the opening part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
