Abstract:
To attain safety of passengers during boarding/alighting in/from an escalator.
A mirror body 8 for reflecting a boundary area between a boarding-alighting plate 7 or a comb plate 6 and a moving tread 1 in a boarding-alighting port and reflecting the boundary area in the eye position direction of the passengers Y approaching its boundary area, is arranged outside a row of the moving tread 1. Thus, since the passengers Y can confirm a position and the distance relationship between the boundary area between the boarding-alighting plate 7 (or the comb plate 6) and the moving tread 1 and oneself by looking at the mirror body 8, the passengers can safely use this passenger conveyor without anxiety.
