Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor in which a truss disposed in a lower pit is not immediately submerged even when water is accumulated in the lower pit.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor includes: a lower horizontal truss 123 disposed in a lower pit 5; a lower machine room 16 disposed on the lower horizontal truss 123; a drain port 6 provided to the lower pit 5; water level sensors 66 and 68 for detecting a water level of water accumulated on a bottom surface of the lower pit 5; a pump 62 for pumping up the water accumulated on the bottom surface of the lower pit 5; a tank 60 for storing the water pumped up by the pump 62; a drain control section 78 for pumping up the water accumulated in the lower pit 5 by the pump 62 and storing the water pumped up in the tank 60 when the water level sensors 66 and 68 detect an abnormal water level.
