Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor which can broadcast a message for calling passenger's attention to the passenger who needs to pay attention to the passenger conveyor.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor includes: a camera 66 which is provided in the lower part of a skirt guard 44 of the entrance; a speaker 54; an image analysis part 508 which analyzes an image taken by the camera 66 to determine whether an object which can easily get caught in a gap between the skirt guard 44 and a footstep 30 is included in a detection image or not; and a voice control part 507 which, when the image analysis part 508 determines that an object which can easily get caught in the gap is included in the detection image, broadcast a message for calling passenger's attention from the speaker 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
