Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor capable of determining whether or not buckling is generated and whether or not an abnormality in an overlap allowance occurs.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor includes: a truss 1 which is installed slidably with respect to a building 2; a force sensor 8 for detecting reaction force between the building 2 and the truss 1; an acceleration sensor 7 for detecting the shake of the building 2; and a control device 9 for determining whether or not buckling is generated and whether or not an abnormality in an overlap allowance occurs on the basis of a value of the force sensor 8 and a value of the acceleration sensor 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
