PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor that facilitates electrical wiring.SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor has a conductive part 86 on the rear surface of a handrail belt 38, formed over the whole circumference along the longitudinal direction of the handrail belt 38, an electrical contact 90 formed on the top surface of a handrail rail 80 and in contact with the conductive part 86, and a control part 50 that transmits/receives a signal to/from the conductive part 86 through the contact 90.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
