PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a foreign substance from entering between comb plates.SOLUTION: There is provided a passenger conveyor which has a plurality of footsteps that are endlessly connected and move between an upper gateway floor and a lower gateway floor that are endlessly connected, and a plurality of comb plates that are arranged on the upper gateway floor or the lower gateway floor and are engaged with unevenness of surfaces of the respective footsteps, where a resin or an elastic body, which embeds the whole or a part of a gap between the comb plates formed between the respective comb plates, is formed between the gap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
