PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor excellent in earthquake resistance while improving safety.SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor 1 is provided with a frame 4 installed in a building structure 100, a plurality of foot steps connected with each other in an endless manner to circulate in the frame 4, and a support angles 6 mounted on the building structure 100 and supporting the frame 4. The passenger conveyor is further provided with an extension support members 21A, 21B, covers 22A, 22B, and a control panel 20. Extension supporting members 21A, 21B are installed on a floor surface of the building structure 100 and the frame 4, and an overlap allowance for the building structure 100 is longer than that of the support angle 6. The covers 22A and 22B cover the extension support members 21 A and 21B. The control panel 20 is installed in a machine room provided in the frame 4. The covers 22A and 22B have respective display devices 27 on the front side which is a boarding side for a passenger, and respective parts of wiring 30 connecting the control board 20 and the displays 27 are accommodated in the covers 22A and 22B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
