Abstract:
To acquire a passenger conveyor capable of improving a boarding rate of the passenger conveyor.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor is provided with multiple footsteps. Each footstep is connected endlessly. A tread of each footstep is divided along the width direction C of the tread into a recommended boarding area 17R where a user boarding is recommended and into a possible boarding area 17P which is not the recommended boarding area 17R. Each of the recommended boarding area 17R and of the possible boarding area 17P is colored differently from each other. The recommended boarding area 17R on the tread of the footstep on the rear stage side is placed on one side in the width direction C and the recommended boarding area 17R on the tread of the footstep on the front stage side is placed on the other side in the width direction C among a pair of the adjacent footsteps in the moving direction B1, B2 of the footstep.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
