Abstract:
To change the sensitivity of a passive antirocking device depending on the magnitude of rocking.
A movable mass 20 of a square cross section is disposed in a tubular member 12 for reciprocation along a rod 18. On each end of the movable mass 20, a compression spring 22 is interposed between an end cap 14 and a washer member 24 to provide restoring force for the movable mass 20. The rod 18 is fixedly mounted with two stop members 26, which butt against the washer members 24 to regulate the displacement thereof. When the stop members 26 regulate the displacement of the washer members 24, the compression springs 22 are not relaxed but compressed or loaded to generate initial reaction force.
