Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a tread edge may loosen if a shoulder region is not sufficiently buffed and trimmed and/or that cushion rubber extending to cross the tread edge is not coupled to a base tire or shoulder.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a buffer brush. When rotating, the buffer brush acts as a centrifugal pump. The buffer brush accommodates therein a core 126 including a first side and a second side, and extends radially from a surface of the core 126. The first side and the second side include at least one opening portion 130 configured so that air flowing laterally through the core 126 can also flow radially into the buffer brush via a vent port.
