Abstract:
To provide a passive microvalve simplifying the whole manufacturing process and downsizing the whole of a system.
This passive microvalve is provided with a substrate 1 having a first aperture 2. An upper plate 7a is mounted on the substrate, and has a second aperture 7b communicating to a space formed between the substrate and the upper plate. A closure member 4 is mounted in the space, and is movable between a first position and a second position. The closure member at the first position enables fluid to flow between the first aperture and the second aperture, and the closure member at the second position closes the second aperture.
