Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the opening/closing work of a foot part and to improve the stability of an apparatus in use by providing a lock member which contacts the side of the foot part to hinder it form being retracted and a holding means which holds the lock member movably to the allowable position of the rotational motion of the foot part to be retracted.
SOLUTION: The foot part of a paste applicator for wallpaper, in which feet 1 are attached freely rotatably at four corners of the lower surface of a base part 8 respectively, supports a main body part 10 in a suspended state when it is used and is rotated and deformed to be folded below the main body part 10 when it is retracted. A round rod 3 as a lock member, a pulling spring 4 constituting an energization means, and a long hole 5 as a holding means are formed in the root part of the foot l. The rod 3 holds the inside of the hole 5 slidably and is energized toward the lower end of the hole 5 by the spring 4. In this way, force to move the foot 1 in the rotational direction is received by the hole 5 to hold the foot 1 stably when it is used.
