Abstract:
To prevent increase in costs by realizing utilization of only an already existing refrigerant circulation system and prevent lowering of reliability with the passage of time.
A vapor-compression refrigerant cycle for cooling operation wherein liquefaction and gasification of the refrigerant is reiterated, is used in pasteurizing a heat exchanger 5 for use in a motor vehicle air conditioner. In pasteurizing the heat exchanger 5, refrigerant in a high pressure and high temperature state, which has been generated in the vapor-compression refrigerant cycle, is flowed into the heat exchanger 5 so as to pasteurize the heat exchanger 5 with high temperature heating.
