In the pasting apparatus of a single facer wherein a pasting roll 30 is arranged in opposed relation to a corrugation roll 6 holding corrugated core paper 2 to apply the paste bonded to the outer peripheral surface of the pasting roll 30 to the tops of the corrugations of the corrugated core paper 2, annular projected parts 31 are formed to both end parts in the axial direction of a pasting roll main body 33 and the height of the projected parts is set so that the gap between the corrugation roll 6 and the pasting roll main body 33 at a time of the contact of the projected parts 31 with the opposed corrugation roll 6 becomes less than the thickness of the core paper.
