PURPOSE: The titled inexpensive composition easily applicable stably even in wind and rain for a proper period free from pollution of environment, obtained by blending a material for controlling release of a volatile and diffusible substance, especially a pheromone substance and a curable liquid organopolysiloxane.
CONSTITUTION: A material for controlling release of a volatile and diffusible substance (e.g., pheromone substance, perfume, etc.) is blended with a curable liquid organopolysiloxane, preferably curable liquid silicone rubber, to give the desired composition. Solid particle containing the volatile and diffusible substance coated or capsuled with a film-forming polymer may be cited as the material for controlling release of the volatile and diffusible substance. The curable liquid organopolysiloxane provides the titled composition with adhesivity, the composition has adhesiveness and weather resistance for a fixed time after it is dried and solidified, and it will not prevent release of the volatile and diffusible substance.
