Abstract:
To provide a pathogenic microbe proliferation suppression unit that can reduce an influence on a human body, can maintain proliferation suppression of the pathogenic microbe and is high in convenience.SOLUTION: A pathogenic microbe proliferation suppression unit 1 of the present invention comprises a housing 2 having an intake port 9 and an exhaust port 10, an ultraviolet irradiation lamp 3 arranged within the housing 2, and a fan 4 provided to at least one of the intake port 9 and the exhaust port 10, and the ultraviolet light irradiation lamp 3 contains an ozone lamp 6 capable of emitting ultraviolet rays that excite oxygen and generate ozone and contributing to the suppression of the proliferation of the pathogenic microorganisms, and an ozone free lamp 7 capable of emitting ultraviolet rays contributing primarily to the suppression of proliferation of pathogenic microorganisms, the fan 4 blows air in the surroundings of the ozone lamp 6 and the ozone free lamp 7. It is preferable that the ozone free lamp 7 radiates ultraviolet light having a wavelength that causes ozone reduction. The ozone lamp 6 and ozone free lamp 7 may be formed as one body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
