Abstract:
To provide a patient information management device that can reliably check an object with a patient at a time of treatment such as medication and blood sampling without increasing time and labor of doctors and nurses, and allows behavior of hospitalized patients and behavior of doctors, nurses, and the like to be managed.SOLUTION: A patient information management device according to the present invention is installed in the vicinity of a bed in a hospital room. The patient information management device includes: a thin monitor that can be installed in the vicinity of the bed; an RFID reader whose reading range is limited to the vicinity of the bed; and a control device that automatically reads identification information from a person and/or an object equipped with an RF tag storing the identification information in the reading range via the RFID reader, checks the read identification information with patient ID of a patient using the bed stored in advance, causes the monitor to display a check result, and causes a memory to sequentially store the identification information read from the person and/or object in the reading range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
