A patient information network system comprises nurse call slave units 2, corridor lights 3, a nurse call apparatus 1 having a nurse call master unit 4 and a controller 5, an ordering apparatus 6 for inputting patient information data of a hospital such as electronic medical charts, medication, accounts or the like, and a PC nurse server 7 for receiving patient information from the ordering apparatus and for informing the patient information to the nurse call master unit. The PC nurse server 7 has a customizing means 730 that distinguishes the data format of patient information used in the ordering apparatus that may differ from one hospital to another and customizes the patient information data so that the data is readable by the nurse call apparatus as patient information.
