This patient introduction support system has: a medical institution information storage means storing at least information related to a location of a medical institution; a special medical care department, and a doctor, a patient medical treatment information storage means storing information related to the patient by medical examination-receiving medical institutions; an introduction destination selection means for allowing the medical examination-receiving medical institution of the patient to select the proper medical institution that is a patient introduction destination from the medical institutions stored in the medical institution information storage means; an introduction production means producing introduction data on the basis of the information about the patient stored in the patient medical treatment information storage means; and an introduction transmission means transmitting the introduction data produced by the introduction production means to the introduction destination medical institution selected by the introduction destination selection means.
