When an entrance/exit detector 4 detects the entrance or exit and if a reader 5 reads patient identification information only from the radio for the patient 1 in the vicinity of the doorway of the room, it is determined that the patient enters or leaves the room, and the read patient identification information is recorded as patient management data. On the other hand, when the entrance/exit detector 4 detects the exit and if the reader 5 reads healthcare-professional identification information from the radio for the healthcare professional 2 in the vicinity of the doorway of the room and the patient identification information from the radio for the patient 1 as well, it is determined that the healthcare professional receives the radio for the patient 1 and leaves the room, and completion of the checking round for the patient is stored as checking round data.
